Every time my family gets a tin of Canada's preserves, the tin has a shelf life of minutes. But the best is the memories I have of bringing home the orange marmalade to my elderly father, who passed on three years ago. I vividly remember watching him bury his toast or english muffin with the marmalade, telling him the only reason for the bread was to have something to trnsport the marmalade on. His eyes would twinkle, he'd give a little chickle, and then devour it. Opening each new tin give me my Dad back for a minute - thank you is not nearly enough.
